How to Oil and Maintain a Cutting BoardMaintaining a cutting board is a quick and easy task that will keep your board sanitary, looking new and extend its life. Wash your cutting board with soap and warm water and scrub well. After washing the cutting board, dry immediately with a towel and let it air dry standing up or on a raised rack with air flow. If your board has stains or smells, you can use lemon juice or white vinegar directly on the area. The acid in these liquids will neutralize the organic material or fats causing the problem. NEVER: - Put the board in the dishwasher. - Let the board in stand in water. - Use bleach. - Put a wet board flat to dry. Place it standing up or on a raised rack with air flow. When will I recieve my order? As long as I'm home to mail it the next day, and not out of the country or out of town, most orders arrive within 5-7 business days of placing it. I don't like the wait when I've bought online items, so neither should you.

What does "end grain" mean?"“End grain” refers to the orientation of the wood fibers in the cutting board. Wooden cutting boards can have the wood fibers oriented in 1 of 2 directions. The fibers can either run along the length or width of the cutting board (known as “face” or “edge” grain) which most of my cutting boards are, or they can be arranged so that the fibers run vertically through the thickness of the cutting board, known as end grain. End grain cutting boards take more time, materials, and labor to make, causing them to priced a lot higher than edge grain boards.

Can you make bulk orders of an item? It's very hard to make an item exactly like another when you are working with nature or materials that are limited, but I can try. Reach out with what you'd like more than one of and I'll tell you if that is a possibility.

Can I order a custom item from you?Let's talk! I'd love to hear what you had in mind. If it's in the scope of what I'm capable of, I'd love to give it a try as I'm always searching for new challanges!

Can you custom burn a logo/image into a cutting board for me?My burn logos are from a brass mold that I burn into the wood. I can use a burn pen, but it's not pretty and I don't recommend it.
